Supermodel Natalia Vodianova – Top career Moments

One of the most strikingly beautiful supermodels in the industry, Natalia Vodianova, was scouted in Paris after two years of doing small fashion gigs. She was born in Russia in 1982 and had a rather difficult life living with her mother and two sisters in poverty.

Her story is very close to a princess in a fairy tale, having to work as a merchant at a fruit stall to help her family financially, signing for modeling school at the age of 15 and being recruited for at 17 by Viva Models.Luckily for her the story has a happy ending and Natalia Vodianova becomes the third best paid model in the industry.

A regular appearance on the cover of Vogue, Natalia is one of the most demanded models for editorials and covers, her undeniably stunning face being found between the pages and on the covers of Elle, Vogue, i-D Magazine, Dazed and Confused, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Jalouse, V magazine and W magazine. Just to name a few of the brands she advertised for, on the long list are Stella McCartney (who seems to have Natalia at heart because she appears in most of their ads since 2010), Chanel, Etam, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Guerlain, Versace and Louis Vuitton.

Not sure if we should list all over 300 fashion podiums she’s been on, but a few of the more recent ones are Stella McCartney, Tom Ford, Alexander Wang, Givenchy and DVF.

Not only is she one of the most adored supermodels of the 21st century, but also a philanthropist. Natalia Vodianova put base of the Naked Heart Foundation in 2004 and since she is the president and representative of the organization. The mission of the foundation is to raise awareness on importance of play and family for children, having as main focus children in the poor districts of Russia. So far they have successfully built over 70 parks for children since their first one in 2006.

After a long struggle, Natalia Vodianova, mother of four, can finally feel accomplished and happy with her life: “I have done it. I have everything I want. I have made enough money to secure my family, and that is all I care about.”

Here are some of the important moments in her career:
