10 Celebrities With Lifetime Bans From Hotels

Even though he is known for movies such as National Lampoon’s Vacation, Kingpin and Independence Day, Randy Quaid has been nominated for a Golden Globe a few times. He was also nominated for an Emmy Award for playing President Lynden B. Johnson in a major motion picture, so skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill doesn’t sound like something that he would need to do.

Apparently that wasn’t the case, back in 2010, when Randy and his wife stayed at the San Ysidro Ranch resort in Montecito, California. According to reports, they gave the hotel a credit card that was not valid and ran up a $10,000 hotel bill.

After paying $40,000 in bail money for himself and his wife, Randy decided not to show up for the hearing, losing out on the money he had originally paid for bail. Eventually the couple came back to town to pay their dues, but the amount of money that was disbursed was far more than if they would have simply paid the initial $10,000 in the first place.
